5. Fellowship: Part: C

There is a teaching that God created man to be worshipped. And worship meeting is held in its name. I do not see anything in my studies where God mandates such a thing regarding humans.

In all the following Bible verses, it is seen that God should be loved. It means that people should love each other and God. The most important of the Ten Commandments is Deuteronomy: 6:5. “Thou shalt love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.”

John 13: 34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; That you also should love one another as I have loved you. 1John: 4:15,16. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them, and they are in God. And so, we know and rely on God to have love for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. Mark:12.29,30: “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ That is. “Worship” is the supreme feeling, state, and act of love. Worship is not something that can be bought by compulsion or law. Worship is the expression, lifestyle, and action based on one’s love for God. Worship is a person’s voluntary offering of respect, thanks, and praise to God. It will be the best when you give with heart. God accepts it. God created man for fellowship. Fellowship is better than worship. That is why God created man in his own image with his own hands and breathed into him a living soul. God created all things with His words and created man exclusively for a great fellowship. The fulfillment of this can be seen in the Book of Revelation. Revelation 21.3. And I heard a great voice from the throne saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God with men; He will dwell with them; They shall be his people; God will be with them as their God. {The Great Fellowship in Heaven}

Below are some verses that speak about worship. 

Exodus 10:3. 3. And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, how long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.  Exodus; 8 .1; 9 .1 says the same thing. Exodus 4. 23 And I say unto thee, let my Son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy Son, even thy firstborn.  

In all these verses, it is not to worship but to serve {that he may serve me:} it means serving God with a man’s whole life. A nation that constantly serves God so that God can be revealed in the world. That is why they were given the law and chosen as special people {Israel}. John:4.23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth.

Who are true worshipers? It is not explaining more. Those who know and love God and give worship and honor to Him with their hearts and minds, here is what is meant here. God does not receive any worship from men by compulsion or law. In Psalm: 86:12, David says, “I will praise you, Lord, my God, with all my heart; Your name will be glorified forever.” Let God’s people, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, gather and worship God in fellowship with their bodies in the Holy Spirit with a perfect mind, with one mind, and with a complete spirit. It is pleasing to God.

It is an important matter to come together with one mind and sincerity in fellowships. one accord with gladness and singleness of heart Act: 2.46 On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended among those who sat together, and it is in the community that is united on the same subject that God’s glory descends, and God’s work takes place. It should be understood that the glory of God descended on the temple built by Solomon and the temple built by Zerubbabel because of their unity.  If the work of God is not going on in local congregations these days, it is because of the lack of unity of the people there. It is a very thoughtful fact to gather together in the temple in unity and eat at love feasts with sincerity of heart.  

God’s Church is a global entity. All men redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ are part of it. The Church is the body of Christ. But there are many local congregations in each place, and the Holy Spirit of God chooses some faithful ones from the Church for its administration, ministry, and evangelization in those lands. (Ministers of the Church). 1 Corinthians 4:1,2. The Apostle Paul says, “Let each of us be counted ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. What is sought in householders is that they should be faithful”.

Ephesians 4: 11-16 “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead of speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him, the whole body joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows, and builds itself up in love, as each part works.”

At this level, the Holy Spirit has made the pastors in the Church. They are appointed not as superiors but as ministers for each one. They do ministries for God in His Church.————> This article continues. Readers’ comments and support are welcome.
